California-based cosmetics company Urban Decay has partnered with Disney to release two limited-edition palettes inspired by their upcoming film Oz the Great and Powerful, which is released on Friday.
Echoing the movie’s theme of good witch versus bad witch, the Glinda palette (above) comes in a collectible box decorated in a light, dreamy design and features an ethereal colour palette of pinks, purples and peaches to reflect Michelle Williams’ make up as the Good Witch Glinda. Meanwhile the Theodora palette contains darker, earthy colours such as browns, blacks and greens which come in a collectible box with a gothic design a la Mila Kunis. Both palettes also contain a Super Saturated High Gloss lip colour and travel size 24/7 Glide On Pencil (personally, we swear by these pencils) which makes it a perfect travel kit to store on your broomstick or in your bubble, depending on which mode of transport you prefer. And when you’re done with the make up you can keep the boxes!
Fun fact: apparently the Urban Decay team had to spend hours staring at images from the film (which includes James Franco, FYI) in order to perfect the shades for each palette… nice job if you can get it!
The Glinda and Theodora palettes retail at $49 each and are available now at Urban Decay.
