Supertrash Reveal their Inspiration for Designers of Dreams Show

On 23 March 2013 Disneyland Paris will host the Designers of Dreams fashion show featuring a dazzling array of designers from across Europe. While Disney have revealed who the designers are, they haven’t revealed which characters they are designing for, other than Lanvin (who has designed a dress for Minnie Mouse) and Sister by Sibling (who were inspired by the mice in Cinderella).

The latest revelation is Supertrash, who have announced they are creating an outfit inspired by African-based musical extrvaganza, The Lion King. Comprised of a biker jacket with tiger print sleeves and fringed mini-skirt, step out in this chic ensemble and you will definitely feel the love tonight.

Speaking out about the collaboration, Supertrash said “When Disney calls and asks if you’ll represent the Netherlands (alongside Lanvin, no less) on the Disneyland Paris catwalk, the answer has to be a resounding ‘yes’. Inspired by The Lion King, SuperTrash’s African-inspired look will join numerous other international brands to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Disneyland Paris at the end of this month.” Hakuna Matata to that!

We can’t wait to see the real-life version on the catwalk along with the other designs, which will be fully revealed during the Designers of Dreams fashion show at Disneyland Paris on 23 March 2013. Stay tuned!
