This weekend Disneyland Paris celebrated its twentieth anniversary in the capital of fashion with a fantastical catwalk show featuring nine of Europe’s finest designers. The Designers of Dreams fashion show marked the extension of the 20th anniversary festivities at the park, which will now continue until 30 September 2013, to give everyone a chance to celebrate the magic.
Taking inspiration from Disney characters large and small, the designers’ fashion fairies worked as hard as Cinderelly to ensure their creations were completed in time for the enchanted evening. Disney already gave us a sneak peek of Minnie’s outfit, which was designed by French fashion house Lanvin, and now I can finally unveil the eight other designs! Belgium-born Jean Paul Knott’s Snow White apple dress and cape: we love the fact that Knott chose to focus on something more offbeat rather than the Disney Princess herself.
