We’re nearly done wrapping up our coverage of the D23 Expo (phew, there was a lot to get through!) but we couldn’t bear to finish without showing you a glimpse of some of the fab outfits we spotted around Anaheim Convention Center! And no – for once we’re not talking about cosplay!
From Disneybounders (like the adorable Tweedledum and Tweedledee, above) to Disney-print dresses, we saw some fabulous fairytale fashion that didn’t involve crinolines, wigs or body-paint! These outfits are a great way of injecting some Disney into your everyday look without feeling too OTT and they are PERFECT for a day out at Disneyland.
Like this Paperman-inspired outfit waiting in line for a Paperman signing! From the subtle paper plane details on the hem of the dress to the real miniature paper planes clipped into her hair, we totally fell for this outfit.
Themed hair-slides were definitely a thing at D23 this year. We loved this Disneybounding Hipster Ariel‘s dinglehopper version and don’t get us started on her starfish ring! It turns out she runs an Etsy store selling mermaid-inspired accessories called ‘Angelfish Grotto’. Such a romantic name! We’ll be posting more about it soon but for those who can’t wait, here’s the link!
And it wasn’t just the ladies getting in on the act! Check out this mer-man rocking the clamshell bra, hipster glasses and the half-off baseball cap. Don’t call him Ariel, though. His name’s Helvetica.
