Disney Style Diary: Cinderella

Maison Mouse editor Kiki was lucky enough to attend a preview of Cinderella on Sunday… which also meant seeing the new Frozen short, Frozen Fever (eek!). Find out what she wore to the ball theatre below…

“Inspired by the dreamy blue dress Lily James is wearing in the poster for Cinderella, I went with this slouchy cerulean sweater from Wildfox, which has ‘Once Upon A Time’ emblazoned across the front and ‘Happily Ever After’ across the back. It’s super soft, so perfect for keeping comfy in the theatre.

I threw it on top of my Disney Princess print cotton dress from Vampire Bunnies (I love this dress!) and a pair of silver slippers from Tory Burch. The finishing touches were a Cinderella evening bag from Helen Rochfort – sadly she no longer makes bags any more – and a silver unicorn pendant by Estella Bartlett.

The film was really fun, especially the scene where the carriage turns back into a pumpkin, but it’s worth going for Frozen Fever alone – IT’S SO DANG CUTE.”
